H2O Maximizer Pellets
Hose-end wetting agent for dry spots and hydrophobic soil
Nonionic soil surfactant and polymer resin blend
- Buy on Amazon
One 8 oz pellet. Needs a hose-end pellet applicator.
4 min per 1,000 sq ft (label range 2–4). The same surfactant and polymer resin as the jug, cast into an 8 oz pellet for a hose-end applicator. The label rate is 2–4 minutes of water per 1,000 sq ft on greens, tees, and other highly maintained turf — how fast the pellet dissolves depends on pressure, flow, and temperature, so this page will not invent how many pellets a lawn takes. Face the jar toward the flow for the full rate, or away from it to go lighter. Underhill’s product page also prints 4–6 minutes per 1,000 on soils that will not hold water. Needs the applicator; this is not a spreader bag.
- The pellet dissolves into the hose stream — you are watering it in as you apply.
- Back on once the lawn has dried.
- Active in the soil 4–6 weeks; reapply as a follow-up in a regular water program.
- Read the label — it governs, not this page.
