The 2.5 gal jug. Pellets are listed separately.
10.0 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft (label range 5.0–10.0). The per-1,000 spray rate is 10 fl oz in 1–2 gal of water — the label’s “highly maintained turf” number for greens and sports fields. New seed is 5–10 fl oz in 3 gal per 1,000. Large-area work is much lighter: 30 fl oz in 40 gal per acre on fairways and commercial lawns, or 16–24 fl oz per acre injected. A surfactant is not a substitute for pulling cores; it is what you put down so the water you already apply actually soaks in. The hose-end pellet is listed next to this one — same chemistry, minutes of water instead of fl oz.
Label wants 1–2 gal of water per 1,000 sq ft — that puts a 2 gal tank at 1,000–2,000 sq ft.
- Water in after spraying so the surfactant and resin reach the root zone.
- Back on once dry.
- Monthly through the growing season, or as needed.
- Read the label — it governs, not this page.
